Maple Chipotle Grilled Corn

Sweet maple syrup and smoky chipotles give this grilled corn an unbelievable flavor.

Ingredients

• 6 ears fresh corn husked
• oil for grill
• Basting Sauce:
• 1/2 cup maple syrup
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 tsp finely minced garlic
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tbs finely chopped chipotle in adobo
• 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Place all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.
2. Preheat grill to medium-high. Oil grill so corn does not stick. FYI--I use a small spray bottle or a Misto especially for the grill. I also have another plastic spray bottle with water to extinguish any flame flare-ups.
